II. CALL TO ORDER: President Pedersen called to order the Board of Trustees of the Village of Franklin Park in regular session at 7:00 p.m.
III. ROLL CALL; ESTABLISHMENT OF QUORUM

1. Mr. Johnson Stated That He Had Nothing To Report On Finance
2. Mr. Johnson Stated That The Next Franklin Park Fest Meeting Will Be On April 11, The Village Continues To Secure A Line Up Of Trains
B. WATER AND SEWER/FLEET MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE (Ms. Avitia, Chair)
1. Ms. Avitia Reported That Buckeye Power System Will Be Replacing Block Heater On The Generator At The Garra Lift Station
2. Ms. Avitia Reported That The Sewer And Water Department Will Be Putting A Battery Backup In To Fullerton, Chicago Pitt And 17th Lift Station
3. Ms. Avitia Reported That Staff Are Also Currently Working On Getting Exit Signs Replaced At King Street And Getting Pump Room Lights And Emergency Lighting Working
4. Ms. Avitia Reported Valve Replacement Will Take Place On April 4th And Tank Draining As Well
5. Ms. Avitia Reported There Were 4 Sewer Back-Ups And A Lot Of Repairs Were Needed For The 211 Vactor
6. Ms. Avitia Reported During March 30 We Received 1.5 Inches Of Rain, Staff Was Out Clearing Street Drains And They Cleared 29 Drains
7. Ms. Avitia Reported That The Backup At Mannheim Road And Shubert Avenue Required Assistance From Leyden Township
C. POLICE AND FIRE COMMITTEE (Mr. Ruhl, Chair)
1. Mr. Ruhl Stated That He Had Nothing To Report On Behalf Of The Fire Department Or On Behalf Of The Police Department
D. STREETS, ALLEYS AND FLEET MAINTENANCE (Mr. Ybarra, Chair)
1. Mr. Ybarra Reported That Cold Patching Has Been Completed From The East Side To West Of Mannheim Road, Northside Of The Village And South Of Grand Avenue And The Middle Part Of The Village
2. Mr. Ybarra Reported All Main And Secondary Streets Have Been Swept
3. Mr. Ybarra Reported The Stop Sign At Mcnerney And Ernst Streets Have Been Replaced, And At Scott And Pacific Streets
4. Mr. Ybarra Reminded Everyone That Yard Waste Will Now Be Picked Up On Tuesday
E. PROPERTY, PLANNING, ZONING, AND BUILDING COMMITTEE (Ms. Special, Chair)
1. Ms. Special Reported Community Development Staff Presented An Indepth Update Of Ongoing Projects And Developments To Both The Plan Commission And Economic Development Commission During Their Monthly Meetings 2022 Minutes Of Proceedings – Page 2
2. Ms. Speciall Reported The Plan Commission Welcomed A New Board Member, Marie Saeli, An Active Member Of The Community And She Will Provide A Valuable Perspective
3. Ms. Special Announced The Latest Edition Of The Department Of Community Development And Zoning’s Year In Review Will Be Available Soon Online And At Village Hall. It Will Contain The Year-In-Review Highlights, Accomplishments And Progress On Projects, Initiatives, And Developments From 2020 And 2021
4. Ms. Special Reported Community Development Staff Continues To Field Inquiries On Zoning Permits, Available Properties, And Potential New Businesses Or Expansions
5. Ms. Special Reported 31 Contractors Applied And Registered For Licenses, There Were 84 Permits Applied For, 57 Building, 10 Electrical, 1 Dumpster Permit And 14 Fire Permits
6. Ms. Special Reported There Were 10 Property Closings For Residential And Commerical, 8 New Businesses Applied For Occupancy And 8 Were Issued Occupancy Certificates
F. HUMAN RESOURCES, SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES AND SENIOR SERVICES COMMITTEE (MR. HAGERSTROM, CHAIR)
1. Mr. Hagerstrom Reminded Everyone That Republic Is Requesting To Change The Day Of The Week Yard Waste Is Picked Up, It Will Be On Tuesday Beginning On April 5th, There Is A Limited Amount Of Yard Waste Recepticles, Please Call The Village Hall To Request One
2. Mr. Hagerstrom Announced The Village And Commissioner Michael Cabonargi Will Be Co-Hosting A Tax Appeal Workship At 6pm In The Police Station’s Community Room

X. COMMENTS FROM THE CLERK:
Village Clerk Arellano reported that in the month of March 119 passports were processed, 38 notaries performed and 42 FOIA requests completed
Village Clerk Arellano reported that 60% of FOIA requests are seeking documents from the Police Station, followed by the Building Department
XI. COMMENTS FROM THE PRESIDENT:
Mayor Pedersen announced Earth Day Celebration at Centre at North Park on Saturday, April 23, 2022

Mayor Pedersen stated there is a need for Salary Schedules for One or More Classes of Employees 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2) and Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance or Dismissal of certain Employees 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)
