St. Luke's 7th Grade Champions | St. Luke School
The 7th grade girls of St. Luke's School of River Forest beat Ascension of South Oak Park 18-10 on Saturday to win the Classic League Championship.
The game was played at Fenwick H.S. in Oak Park.
St. Luke's team members include Isabella Lugo, Caroline Sheehan, Gilly Jones, Silvana Barone, Melissa Carcamo, Erin Hanley, Cassidy Taylor, Sabrina Nitti. Aly Lopez, Isabelle Lefko and C.C. D’Alise.
St. Luke's coaches are Kim Lefko and Maggie Tansey.
The Bearcats beat St. Vincent of River Forest 23-20 in the Semifinals.
The Classic League includes St. Luke, Ascension, St. Angela of Chicago's Austin neighborhood, Sacred Heart of Lombard, Divine Providence of Westchester, St. Joseph of Downers Grove, St. Giles of Oak Park, St. Mary of Riverside and St. Vincent of River Forest.
