Report: Forest Park School District spent $25,743 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Forest Park School District 91 was up 18.6 percent from five years ago, according to the West Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $21,713 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $25,743 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 779 to 774 students over the same period.

Forest Park's spending in 2019-20 was 77.6 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
