Report: Franklin Park School District spent $14,137 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Franklin Park School District 84 was up 9.1 percent from five years ago, according to the West Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $12,953 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $14,137 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 1,323 to 1,387 students over the same period.

Franklin Park's spending in 2019-20 was 2.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
