Report: Rhodes School District spent $16,044 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Rhodes School District 84-5 was up 4.2 percent from five years ago, according to the West Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $15,401 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $16,044 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 704 to 587 students over the same period.

Rhodes's spending in 2019-20 was 10.7 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
