Report: Riverside Brookfield School District spent $16,002 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Riverside Brookfield High School District 208 was up 4.7 percent from five years ago, according to the West Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $15,280 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $16,002 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 1,635 to 1,636 students over the same period.

Riverside Brookfield's spending in 2019-20 was 10.4 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
