Report: La Grange Highlands School District spent $13,337 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at La Grange Highlands School District 106 was down 6.2 percent from five years ago, according to the West Cook News analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Cook County school district spent $14,216 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,337 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 815 to 921 students over the same period.

La Grange Highlands's spending in 2019-20 was 8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
