Triton College Athletics issued the following announcement on Nov. 5
The historic season for the Triton College women's soccer ended in their 4-0 home loss to South Suburban College in the Region 4 Division II semifinals Nov. 3 in River Grove.
The NJCAA No. 17 ranked Trojans could not generate much offense against the No, 8 ranked Bulldogs. South Suburban played a strong defensively and kept the big Triton crowd in attendance mostly quiet by scoring a pair of early goals to go up 2-0.
The Bulldogs (15-2) would strike again late in the first half and then added an insurance goal in the second half.
The Trojans season concludes 12-3, the most wins and first winning campaign since the women's soccer program began in 2006.
America Calvario broke the school single-season record in goals (20) and total points (47) to earn first team all-region status and NJCAA All-American consideration.
Riverside-Brookfield product Grace Larson was also first team all-region. Larson finished with 11 assists, ranked 17th in the nation that category.
Adrienne Cornejo was second team all-region.
