1 President Lee called the meeting to order 6:30 p.m.

Also present: Village Administrator Espiritu, Assistant to the Village Administrator Miller, Fire Chief Kuryla, Superintendent Wagner, Village Attorney Smith
4 Presentations and Appointment
4.1 Discussion on Village Hall Reopening and Board Meeting Structure
Discussed by all those present structures of meetings going forward amid reopenings and positivity rate being decreased from COVID. Agreement made to not be masked and seating to be closer in proximity. Also agreed on posting sign to mask if not vaccinated and to have sign in sheet for outsiders joining meeting to aid in contact tracing. Everyone agreed to be respectful of everyone’s opinions and wants.

10.1 Resolution Approving and Authorizing the Execution of an Employment Agreement Between Rudy Espiritu and the Village of Berkeley Administrator Espiritu thanks all for agreement that was put in place. President Lee acknowledges Memorial Day ceremony was a success and flag drop is eye catching and well due.

10.2.1 6/15/2021 Village Board Meeting at 6:30 p.m.-President Lee states banners will be ordered and Robo calls will be starting regarding events

11.1 Strategic Planning Session – Thursday, August 19, 2021-Adminstaor Espiritu advises all to bring action items.
12 Village Attorney-Illinois General Assembly is in session, local government funds stayed intact for now. Gaming bill also was presented.
