Village of Bellwood Village Board met April 21.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

a Public Works – Trustee Ciavattone, Chairman; Trustee Delgado, Member, 

i Departmental Report, 

ii Item E - The agreement provides for a $200,000 grant from Cook County for Project Number 2006-081, street resurfacing project, 

iii Item F - Harrison Street from Bellwood Avenue to 25th Avenue is under consideration for improvement as part of Illinois Department of  Transportation’s Surface Transportation Program, a segment of Harrison  Street from Eastern Avenue to 25th Avenue will need functional classification  as a minor collector route to satisfy criteria for improvement, 

b Community Development – Trustee Boston, Chairman; Trustee Robinson, Member, 

i Departmental Report, 

ii Item C - The Village has previously declared the referenced real estate as  surplus and has previously authorized the sale of said real estate and is  reaffirming said declaration and authorizing of the disposition of the real  estate, 

c Quality of Life – Trustee Holman, Chairman; Trustee Boston, Member, 

i Departmental Report, 

ii Item D - Pursuant to the PACE Vehicle Program Agreement which provides  for the buses supporting the senior transportation program, the Village is  annually required to make Certifications and Assurances relating to operation  and maintenance of the buses and program, 

iii Item J - The Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing regarding Petitioner’s request for zoning relief and as a result of which has made a recommendation pertaining to Petitioner’s request for the second story enlargement of the structure, 

iv Item K - The Zoning Board of Appeals conducted a public hearing regarding Petitioner’s request for zoning relief and as a result of which has made a recommendation pertaining to Petitioner’s request for the use of off-site  parking – there was a scrivener’s error in the set of documents previously  approved – Nunc Pro Tunc, 

d Administration – Trustee Robinson, Chairman; Trustee Ciavattone, Member,

 i Departmental Report, 

ii Item B - Amendment reaffirms the duties of the Village Clerk and Village  Collector for the current term and further separates the offices effective May  1, 2025, 

iii Item H - The Amendment provides an increase in the license fee from $1,000  to $1,100 and allocates that the $1,000 of the license fee be paid by the  Video Gaming Terminal Operator and $100 by the establishment, 

e Public Safety – Trustee Delgado, Chairman; Trustee Nightengale, Member, 

i Departmental Report, 

ii Item G - The agreement provides for the renewal of an agreement for the purchase and maintenance of communication equipment for the Police  Department,

iv Item A - The Village on an annual basis adopts an appropriation ordinance providing for the appropriations of funds for the calendar year. From time to  time it is necessary to amend the appropriation ordinance in order to provide  for and authorize certain expenditures, 

v Item I - The Village of Bellwood is required to annually perform an audit of the financial records of the village the findings of which are adopted and  published,
