City of Berwyn issued the following announcement on Nov. 27.
The Emergency Management Services is encouraging residents and essential workers in the City of Berwyn to take advantage of the upcoming FREE COVID-19 Testing opportunity on Sunday, December 6th from 9am to 3pm (or until supplies last).
This testing is cost free for residents who do not have insurance. Please be sure to bring an ID with you and be prepared to submit basic information for test results (name/dob/address/phone number).
If you have insurance, please bring your card with you.
You do not have to be symptomatic or be sick to take the test.
After you take the COVID-19 test:
Please allow 72 hours for a North Shore Clinic staff member to contact you by phone with your test results.
Due to a recent influx of testing volume and to deliver prompt notification to patients with positive COVID-19 test results, North Shore Clinic will only make (1) call to notify patients with NEGATIVE tests results.
When a voicemail option is available, a voicemail with negative test result notification will be left on patient voicemail.
Patients with POSITIVE COVID-19 test results will be contacted MULTIPLE times.
