City of Northlake Finance and Rules Committee of the Whole met Nov. 2.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Mayor Sherwin called for the roll.

Roll Call:

Present: Alderman Straube

Alderman Contreras

Alderman Garcia

Alderman Johnson

Alderman Gonzalez

Alderman Grochowski

Alderman Patti

Present Via Conference Bridge: Alderman Feldmann

Others Present: Carol Lampard, Finance Director 

Norm Nissen, Chief Of Police

Tony Faciano, Superintendent Public Works

The committee reviewed the minutes of the October 19, 2020 meeting. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 19, 2020 meeting; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The minutes were approved.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Warrants and Vouchers. Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the Warrants and Vouchers; seconded by Alderman Johnson. Questions were asked and answered respectively. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Under New Business:

Alderman Patti made a motion to approve Resolution R-19-2020; A Resolution Approving an Agreement Between the City of Northlake and Lakeshore Recycling Services, LLC for Residential Collection and Transportation of Municipal Solid Waste; seconded by Alderman Straube. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

A resident came forward and requested a speed bump on West Drive. Mayor Sherwin said the police would monitor the area and report back to the council.

There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Meeting Adjourned 6:41 P.M.
