9.1.1 Trustee Liaison Report – Trustee Washington gave a couple of updates.

The Mayor and Administration continue to work towards an IGA with the Tollway. Administration is also busy working on Healthcare Open Enrollment.

9.1.3 Motion to Approve a Resolution Approving the Submission of a Project Application for Funding Under the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Projects Program for Sidewalk Improvements

9.2 Finance and Economic Development (Chair – Trustee Washington; CoChair Trustee Salemi)

9.2.1 Trustee Liaison Report – Trustee Washington informed the Board that the Board will be meeting on November 3rd instead of the 2nd. At that time, a presentation for approval will be given on the finalized Financial Audit. Administrator Espiritu confirmed that the General Fund was balanced at the beginning of the fiscal year. There is a plan to submit an amended Budget once the Tollway IGA is finalized.

9.3.1 Trustee Liaison Report – No report

9.4 Fire and Health (Chair – Trustee Grenier; Co-Chair Trustee Perez)

9.4.1 Trustee Liaison Report – Trustee Grenier informed the Board that he will meet with Superintendent Wagner regarding Holiday/Christmas lighting. Trustee Grenier found some information regarding a Flag Box which he will forward to Mayor Lee and Administrator Espiritu.

9.5 Public Works and Utilities (Chair – Trustee Hammar; Co-Chair Trustee Grenier)

9.5.1 Trustee Liaison Report – Trustee Hammar met with Mayor Lee, Park District Commissioners Ditchfield and Smith. Trustee Hammar said that the meeting went very well. They pledged Intergovernmental collaboration. As for the Elm St. Watermain Project Report– there was a savings to the Village of approximately $30,000.

9.5.2 Monthly Report

9.6 Community and Intergovernmental Relations (Chair – Trustee Perez; CoChair Trustee Graf-Stone)

9.6.1 Trustee Liaison Report – Trustee Perez reminded the Board that on Saturday, October 31st,Memorial Park District will be a Halloween Drive thru Event. No reservation is needed.

10 Village President

10.1 President’s Report

10.1.1 10/31/20 Halloween Trick-or-Treat Hours 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

10.1.2 11/2/20 Special Village Board Meeting at 6:30 p.m. – no special Village Board meeting. Instead will have regular meeting on Tuesday, November 3rd.

10.1.3 11/3/20 Election Day Holiday – Village Hall Closed - Cancelled

11 Village Administrator – Village Administrator Espiritu informed the Board that in the Village of Berkeley the positive cases of the Coronavirus have gone up. The infection rate is about 10%. Please continue to practice safety.

12 Village Attorney – The IML lawsuit against the Election Day was successful, therefore all municipalities are eligible to be open on November 3rd.
