City of Northlake issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
Follow Covid regulations: wear masks; use social distancing.
Be sure your child’s costume is flame retardant and warn him/her to avoid open flames.
Be sure the child’s costume is visible at night.
Be sure to have the child carry a flashlight or glow stick at all times.
Have your children cross the street only at well-lit crosswalks and intersections.
Tell your children not to eat any candy until you can check it for tampering.
If children are trick or treating alone, remind them to never enter a stranger’s home and to stay outside the door.
