City of Countryside issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
The League of Women Voters of the La Grange Area will host a forum for the candidates running for the general election for IL 3rd Congressional District, via Zoom Webinar on Thursday, October 1, from 7-8:00 p.m. Registration for the webinar can be found at the LWVLGA website, www.lagrangearealwv.org. Candidates will make brief presentations on their backgrounds, qualifications and interest in running for office. This will be followed by questions from the audience. Additionally, questions submitted by citizens in advance of the forum will be asked of the candidates. To submit a question, please send an email to league@lagrangearealwv.org.
