9.3 Police and Property Maintenance (Chair – Trustee Salemi; Co-Chair

Trustee Hammar)

9.3.1 Trustee Liaison Report – Trustee Salemi informed the Board that most of the Board members were present for the Grand Opening of the Dollar Tree store. She informed everyone that the store is very bright and clean and she hopes that everyone gets a chance to shop there.

9.3.2 Motion to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Termination of an Automated Traffic Law Enforcement Agreement between the Village of Berkeley, Cook County, Illinois and SafeSpeed, LLC

Administrator Rudy Espiritu gave a brief summary of why the recommendation is for the Board to approve the Resolution Authorizing the Termination of the Automated Traffic Law Enforcement Agreement between the Village of Berkeley, Cook County, IL and SafeSpeed, LLC.

9.4 Fire and Health (Chair – Trustee Grenier; Co-Chair Trustee Perez)

9.4.1 Trustee Liaison Report- Trustee Grenier gave a brief summary of the Village Hall 2nd floor HVAC Analysis.

Fire Chief Kuryla gave a brief update on a Garage Fire that happened in the Village on Bohlander, near Wolf. No one was hurt.

9.5 Public Works and Utilities (Chair – Trustee Hammar; Co-Chair Trustee Grenier)

9.5.1 Trustee Liaison Report – Trustee Hammar informed the Board that Public Works has been taking advantage of the nice weather and removing some problem trees in the Village and clean up as it is identified.

9.6 Community and Intergovernmental Relations (Chair – Trustee Perez; Co-Chair Trustee Graf-Stone)

9.6.1 Trustee Liaison Report – Trustee Perez informed the Board that he has received a few of the contracts for the Music in the Park.

10 Village President

10.1 President’s Report

10.1.1 2/18/2020 Village Board Meeting at 6:30 p.m.

The Liaison meetings have started. President Lee met with Trustee Hammar, the Park District Director, Administrator Espiritu and Supt. Wagner. He believes it was a good meeting. He would like to have at least two more Liaison meetings with two more Board members within the next two weeks.

Town Hall meeting was well attended. Tollway and ComEd representatives were there to answer any questions or concerns that the residents had. President Lee thanked Administrator Espiritu, Assistant to the Administrator Miller and staff for coordinating the meetings. President Lee, Administrator Espiritu, and Trustee Perez will be attending a Chamber of Commerce event tonight. Trustee Salemi will be working with the Chamber of Commerce and they are looking forward to working with her. Congratulations to Dollar Tree! It is a beautiful store and they did a great job renovating. It is a very bright and have energetic people working there.

The Strip Mall owned by Butera and Mega Properties is looking so much better thanks to the Police and Code Enforcement.

11 Village Administrator – Next Board Meeting on the 18th of February will be primarily the Budget Workshop. The new Budget will be submitted to the Board for their consideration and the majority of discussions will be at that meeting. Trustee Salemi thanked Administrator Espiritu, Assistant to the Administrator Miller, and Staff for putting together the Grand Opening for Dollar Tree so quickly. This gave President Lee and the Board a chance to welcome Dollar Tree to the community.
