Analysis: Hodgkins pays $3.30 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Hodgkins Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.1 percent of the $1,533,084 the Hodgkins Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.30 for every $1 from pension members, according to a West Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Hodgkins contributed $1,166,840 to the fund, which saw a $269,274 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $353,284, or 23 percent, in 2018. Another $12,960 came from other unspecified sources.
