Analysis: Stone Park pays $13.48 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Stone Park Police Pensionfund

Taxpayers contributed 93.1 percent of the $877,670 the Stone Park Police Pensionfund brought in 2018, or $13.48 for every $1 from pension members, according to a West Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Stone Park contributed $817,095 to the fund, which saw a $1,375 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $60,576, or 6.9 percent, in 2018.
