Griffin arrested, charged with mob action in Cicero during George Floyd protests

Cicero police arrested 26-year-old Veonte Griffin May 31 on the charge of mob action / failure to withdraw during protests over the death of George Floyd.

The arrest took place at 2700 S. California Ave., the Cicero Police Department reported. Griffin also had a previous arrest in Chicago, police said. 

Griffin was among eight people arrested during the demonstrations on May 30 and May 31 by Cicero officers.
