City of Countryside Board of Fire & Police Commission met May 28.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

I. Call Meeting to Order.

II. Roll Call.

III. Approval of Minutes.

a. Regular Meeting minutes of March 2, 2020.

IV. Comments from the Public.

V. New Business.

a. Discussion of retirement notice from Sergeant Boyd.

b. Consideration of recommended changes to the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners.

c. Consideration of changes to Chapter III – Police Positions – Lateral Appointments submitted by Committee of Commissioner Thomas Perry, Police Chief Joe Ford, and Board Attorney Erik Peck.

VI. Old Business.

a. Status of replacement of Patrol Officer Goluszka who retired in December 2019.

b. Status of retirement notice from Sergeant Andree.

c. Selection of new testing company for promotional process testing.

The Board is currently using the services of Police Consultants Inc.

VII. Other Business.

VIII. Adjournment.
