The data shows that 69 men and five women were released in Broadview zip code. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee was a 16-year-old man convicted of a sex crime in 2016, and the oldest was a 65-year-old man convicted of a crime against one or more children in 2013.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Randy Bean. He was convicted of homicide in 2009, when he was 24 years old. He is now 35.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
