City of Berwyn issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.
Christmas trees will be picked up on the regular scheduled pickup day for the second and third weeks of January. Trees must be clean of all decorations and lights and not in bags.
Trees larger than 6 ft must be cut in half.
Acceptable items include Fresh Christmas trees. Non-acceptable items include artificial Christmas trees.
If you are disposing of an artificial tree, please Call WM at (800) 964-8988 to notify them of your request.
