City of Northlake Finance and Rules Committee met Nov. 4.

The committee reviewed the minutes of the October 21, 2019 meeting. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve the minutes of the October 21, 2019 meeting; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The minutes were approved.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Warrants and Vouchers. Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the Warrants and Vouchers; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Under New Business:

Mayor Sherwin presented Ordinance O-19-2019; An Ordinance Vacating an Alley Lying North of Lake Street Between Elm Avenue and Lavergne Avenue in the City of Northlake, Cook County, Illinois and Ordinance O-20-2019; An Ordinance Vacating an Alley Lying North of Lake Street Between Lind Avenue and Elm Avenue in the City of Northlake, Cook County, Illinois. It was agreed they could be approved and voted on together. Alderman Contreras made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin reminded everyone the annual Budget Meeting is set for November 20, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.

There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.
