City of Northlake Community Events and Affairs Committee met Sept. 10.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
The meeting was called to order at 6:33 pm
Present:
Pat Pionto, Tim Rail, Diane Sampson, Kary Sampson
Absent:
Anna Johnson
Others Present:
Paul Straube
Tim made a motion to approve the minutes from the August 2019 meeting, seconded by Kay. All in favor, the motion carried.
Old Business
Summer Concerts: - We need to find four bands to play next year in June, July, August, and September, Our committee will start looking for this. Preferably different music each month.
NEW BUSINESS –
Boo-Fest: - This event will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Diane will order candy (approximately 6600 pieces) and purchase gift cards ($20.00 each) for the kids who will help run the games. Pat has bags to pass out. The committee will pass out Pixi Stix to each child along with the peanuts that is donated by the Kiwanis.
Pat made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Tim. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.
