Gottlieb Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Aug. 11.
11 high school and college students were awarded the prestigious Gottlieb Auxiliary/Medical Staff Scholarship and Patel Scholarship.
The Auxiliary/Medical Staff awards $1,000 scholarships to local high school students and the Patel Scholarship awards college students who are interested in pursuing a healthcare career. The Patel Scholarship is personally funded by two Gottlieb physicians; Dilip Patel, MD, and Krishna Patel, MD.
