2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60302?

There were 10 offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60302, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by West Cook News.

The data shows that nine men and one woman were released in the Oak Park zip code. The median age of the parolees was 30. The youngest parolee was a 19-year-old man convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons in 2018, and the oldest was a 54-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Romain Martin. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2016, when he was 54 years old. He is now 58.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
