City of Northlake Finance & Rules Committee of the Whole met May 20.

Roll Call:

Present: Alderman Straube

Alderman Feldmann

Alderman Contreras

Alderman Patti

Others Present:

Nancy Pauletto, City Clerk

Carol Lampard, Finance Director

Norm Nissen, Chief Of Police

Dale Roberts, Superintendent Public Works

The committee reviewed the minutes of the May 6, 2019 meeting. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 6, 2019 meeting; seconded by Alderman Contreras. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The minutes were approved.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Warrants and Vouchers. Alderman Patti made a motion to pay the Warrants and Vouchers; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Mayor Sherwin presented the Commission Expenditures. Alderman Feldmann made a motion to pay the Commission Expenditures; seconded by Alderman Patti. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Under New Business:

Mayor Sherwin presented Ordinance O-09-2019; An Ordinance Establishing Water Service Rates and Amending Section 7-7A-5-1A of the Northlake City Code. The new rate reflects an increase in the amount of.82%. Alderman Patti made a motion to approve; seconded by Alderman Feldmann. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

Alderman Patti made a motion to approve a Raffle License for the City of Northlake to sell tickets for the 2019 car raffle; seconded by Alderman Contreras. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.

There being no further business, Alderman Straube made a motion to adjourn; seconded by Alderman Grochowski. Mayor Sherwin called for a voice vote. All were in favor. The motion carried.
