Berkeley home prices fall in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Berkeley fell by $19,750 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $178,500 - a 10% decrease over the $198,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Berkeley in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Berkeley for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,582, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
