Hillside home prices rise in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Hillside rose by $44,000 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $204,000 - a 27.5% increase over the $160,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Hillside in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Hillside for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,251, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
