Hillside home prices fall in January 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2018 in Hillside fell by $14,000 while total sales increased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2018, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $156,000 - a 8.2% decrease over the $170,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Hillside in January 2017.

The median sales tax in Hillside for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,251, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for January 2018.
