Hillside home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in Hillside rose by $37,250 while total sales increased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,000 - a 36.3% increase over the $102,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Hillside in June 2016.

The median sales tax in Hillside for 2017 was $4,251. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,728. This marks an increase of 14%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3%.
