Bellwood home prices fall in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Bellwood fell by $11,000 while total sales increased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $116,000 - a 8.7% decrease over the $127,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Bellwood in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Bellwood for 2017 was $4,154. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,741. This marks an increase of 11%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.6%.
