Broadview home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Broadview rose by $55,750 while total sales increased by 30%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $165,000 - a 51% increase over the $109,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Broadview in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Broadview for 2017 was $3,807. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,411. This marks an increase of 11.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
