La Grange Highlands home prices fall in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in La Grange Highlands fell by $150,000 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $240,000 - a 38.5% decrease over the $390,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in La Grange Highlands in May 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in La Grange Highlands for 2017 was $5,760. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,151. This marks an increase of 11.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
