Brookfield home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Brookfield fell by $13,500 while total sales increased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $213,000 - a 6% decrease over the $226,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Brookfield in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Brookfield for 2017 was $5,653. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,290. This marks an increase of 6.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.7%.
