Forest Park home prices rise in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Forest Park rose by $32,500 while total sales increased by 3.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $220,000 - a 17.3% increase over the $187,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Forest Park in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Forest Park for 2017 was $5,445. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,860. This marks an increase of 12%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
