Schiller Park home prices rise in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Schiller Park rose by $82,500 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $253,000 - a 48.4% increase over the $170,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Schiller Park in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Schiller Park for 2017 was $4,258. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,541. This marks an decrease of 6.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
