Hillside home prices fall in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Hillside fell by $5,750 while total sales increased by 100%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $115,250 - a 4.8% decrease over the $121,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Hillside in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Hillside for 2017 was $4,251. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,728. This marks an increase of 14%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.7%.
