Brookfield home prices rise in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Brookfield rose by $10,500 while total sales increased by 47.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,500 - a 4.6% increase over the $227,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Brookfield in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Brookfield for 2017 was $5,653. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,290. This marks an increase of 6.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
