Forest Park home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Forest Park fell by $37,500 while total sales decreased by 23.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,000 - a 29.6% decrease over the $126,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Forest Park in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Forest Park for 2017 was $5,445. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,860. This marks an increase of 12%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 6.1%.
