Hillside home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Hillside fell by $2,250 while total sales increased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $102,750 - a 2.1% decrease over the $105,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Hillside in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Hillside for 2017 was $4,251. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,728. This marks an increase of 14%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 4.1%.
