Bellwood home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Bellwood rose by $40,000 while total sales decreased by 29%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 22 homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,500 - a 46.8% increase over the $85,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in Bellwood in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Bellwood for 2017 was $4,154. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,741. This marks an increase of 11%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.3%.
