Western Springs home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Western Springs fell by $181,500 while total sales decreased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $413,500 - a 30.5% decrease over the $595,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Western Springs in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Western Springs for 2017 was $10,034. In 2016, the median sales tax was $9,089. This marks an increase of 10.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
