La Grange home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in La Grange rose by $153,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 10 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $517,500 - a 42% increase over the $364,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in La Grange in February 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in La Grange for 2017 was $9,393. In 2016, the median sales tax was $8,721. This marks an increase of 7.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
