Hillside home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Hillside rose by $42,500 while total sales decreased by 7.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 49 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 30.9% increase over the $137,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 53 homes sold in Hillside in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Hillside for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,251, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
