Countryside home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Countryside fell by $74,000 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $114,500 - a 39.3% decrease over the $188,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Countryside in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Countryside for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,188.30, approximately 3.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
