Stickney home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Stickney rose by $6,250 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 3.6% increase over the $173,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Stickney in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Stickney for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,284.20, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
