Hillside home prices unchanged in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Hillside was unchanged while total sales increased by 17.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,000. There were 23 homes sold in Hillside in the first quarter of 2016, and the median sales price for the period was also $130,000.

The median sales tax in Hillside for 2017 was $4,250.70. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,728.30. This marks an increase of 14%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.3%.
