Countryside mayor candidate Sean McDermott returns $500 contribution from Verros Lafakis & Berkshire

The campaign committee of Countryside mayor candidate Sean McDermott, Friends of Sean McDermott, returned a $500 contribution from Verros Lafakis & Berkshire on Jan. 8, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Verros Lafakis & Berkshire has not made any other contributions to Sean McDermott in the past 12 months.
