Education First Party owes $15,000 in fines

The campaign committee Education First Party owes a $5,000 fine imposed on Jan. 14, 2014, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $10,000 with Ronald Anderson listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 22 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $127,497.59 in pending fines.
